Mccall Trailrunning Classic
The McCall Trailrunning Classic is an annual trail running event held in the Payette National Forest near Burgdorf Hotspring, Idaho. Established in 2012, the race features two distances: a 30K and a 50K, both run on challenging alpine singletrack trails originally part of the IMTUF100 course. The 30K follows the "Legend of Bear Pete" loop with approximately 3,500 feet of elevation gain, while the 50K includes this loop plus an additional circuit via Jeanette Creek and Willow Creek Trails, passing Crystal Mountain.
The start and finish are at Pete Creek Trailhead and Campground, offering free dispersed camping and nearby lodging options. The event is known for its scenic, mountainous terrain and a strong community atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
