Mcclellan Madness
McClellan Madness is an annual trail running event held at the McClellan Bike Trails in Anniston, Alabama, celebrating its 5th anniversary in 2026. The race features 4-hour and 8-hour options on a 4.1-mile single-track loop with about 300 feet of elevation gain per lap. In 2026, the course will be run counterclockwise for a fresh challenge.
The trail is runnable with some rocky sections but not highly technical. Aid stations offer water, sodas, Tailwind, snacks, and grilled cheese options, including vegan choices. Participants receive soft t-shirts, and awards are given for top distances and record-breaking performances.
