Mcelveen Race for the Ark

The 26th Annual McElveen Race For The ARK takes place in downtown Summerville, SC, featuring a USATF-certified 5K run/walk and a 1-mile fun run. Both races start and finish at St. Luke's Lutheran Church on Central Avenue, winding through historic downtown.

The event supports families affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementia. Participants can register for the 5K with or without a dry-fit T-shirt, and there are options for individual or family entries in the fun run. Awards are given to top finishers, with bonuses for breaking course records.
