McKirdy Micro Race Series: MicrOTQ
The event is a marathon held on March 29, 2026, at Rockland Lake State Park in Valley Cottage, NY 10989. The course is certified and measured to ensure the exact marathon distance of 26.2 miles. The event is USATF certified and World Athletics certified (World Athletics Certification #USA-2023-071). Race services include personal fluids and bottles at aid stations, dedicated pacers, and a VIP Bottle Service add-on that places prepared bottles on the tables for up to 50 participants.
Entry, fees, and policies
This is a professional-level event with entry subject to qualifying performance between 01/01/24 and the present. Entry standards listed are: men 2:25:00 / 1:09:00 and women 2:50:00 / 1:20:00; comparable performances from 10 km to half marathon are subject to director approval. Acceptance requires verification of performance with a maximum net loss of -3.30 m/1000 m and downhill performances will not be accepted. Anyone with a prior suspension from USADA, WADA, or a national governing body is not eligible. No refunds are allowed. Deferrals to 2027 may be permitted with director approval and a $25 fee if requested by 03/28/26. Transfers to the Breaking-3:00 Marathon are possible for a $25 fee, with transfer requests reviewed by the race directors and a deadline of 02/28/26.
