Meandering Turkey is a running event on November 23, 2025 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The event takes place at Klaus Park between Cape and Jackson. The main distance is 5.5 miles. Registration closes on November 22, 2025 and the field is limited to 100 participants. There is no race day registration and no refunds or transfers.
Course, awards and logistics
The listing describes the course as paved, but the organizer notes it is approximately 5.5 miles of hilly, rooty single track. All participants receive a Missouri Running performance tech shirt and a pair of socks. Overall male and female winners receive a $100 Missouri Running Co. gift certificate, and awards are given to the top three in each age division. Age divisions are 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+; divisions may be split into smaller groups if more than eight people register in the same division.
Food and beverages are provided after the race. A kids fun run of about 1.5 miles follows the main event for ages 12 and under; it is free, does not include a shirt or awards, and is weather dependent. Parents may run with their children.
