The megsmiles 5K takes place on Saturday, January 10, 2026 in Mechanicsville, VA. The in-person events are hosted at Atlee High School, 9414 Atlee Station Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23116. This is the 12th annual megsmiles 5K.

Registration and logistics
Entry fees listed by the organizer are $40 for the in-person 5K ($45 on race day), $40 for the virtual 5K, and $20 for the Kids Run ($25 on race day). The virtual 5K registration ends January 10, 2026 at 11:59am EST. The organizer notes a shirt cutoff on December 10; registrations after that date are not guaranteed a shirt.
Virtual registrants will receive commemorative shirts and medals by mail in late 2025 or early 2026. Packet pickup for in-person runners is available Friday, January 9 at Lucky Road Mechanicsville, 9325 Chamberlayne Rd, Mechanicsville, VA 23116 (NOON - 2:00pm and 4:00pm - 6:00pm), and on race morning at Atlee High School (7:30 - 8:30am).
