Mellow Trail Race

Mellow Trail Race, hosted by Tejas Trails, takes place at Pace Bend Park near Spicewood, Texas, on the shore of Lake Travis. The event offers Mellow distances: 26.2 mi, 13.1 mi, 10K, 5K, and a Youth 1-Mile Trail Run. The course centers on a 13.1-mile loop with a 5K shortcut; the 26.2-mile option is two laps.

Expect twisty, rock- and root-studded singletrack with about 897 feet of climb per lap, often with lake views. The course is meticulously marked with orange tape, yellow arrows, and reflective gear for night running. Finishers can dip in the lake and join a laid-back post-race celebration.
