Merry Fitness 5K : event information
The Merry Fitness 5K takes place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at ELJ Farms, 133 Batting Cage Trail, Jacksonville, NC 28540. The event is a single 5K distance. The listed entry fee is $30, with the price increasing after October 31, 2025 at 11:59pm EDT. Proceeds provide scholarship opportunities for Onslow County students to participate in the Marathon Kids program. Logistics and policies
Packet pick-up is scheduled on Thursday, December 11 at the New River YMCA (1940 Gum Branch Road), Friday, December 12 at Eggs Up Grill (2457 Gum Branch Road), and on race day at ELJ Farms. Race shirts are available as an add-on for $15 each and must be purchased by November 26. The event will proceed rain or shine; if inclement weather does not pass the event may be postponed or canceled. Inclement weather criteria include severe winds over 35 miles per hour and lightning detected within 10 miles. If the event is canceled due to an Act of God or other circumstances beyond the race director's control, there will be no refunds, credits, or transfers.
