Mesa Falls Marathon
The Mesa Falls Marathon, held in Ashton, Idaho, is a scenic point-to-point race starting on Scenic Highway 47 in the Targhee National Forest and finishing in Ashton. The marathon course features a mix of 14 miles of blacktop, 3.2 miles of packed trails along Warm River, and 13.6 miles of pavement, with spectacular views of the Teton Mountains, Lower Mesa Falls, and the Henry’s Fork of the Snake River. The course starts at 6,135 ft elevation and descends nearly 900 ft overall, with one notable uphill section.
