About the race
Metric Marathon is a road race held in Harwood, Maryland (Southern Anne Arundel County). The centerpiece is a scenic 26.2-kilometer (16.28-mile) course through rural Harwood with rolling hills, including more challenging climbs around miles 12 and 14. It is an open-road race run on paved streets, with police and officials directing traffic and coned sections.
The event is the sixth race of the Annapolis Striders Championship Series. Entry is $15 (discounted to $10 for Annapolis Striders members; non-members pay $25 on race day). Five aid stations provide water and Gatorade.
