About the race
Miami 50/50 is an open-road ultramarathon in Miami, Florida, a 50-mile two-person team race through Wynwood, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, Calle Ocho, Coconut Grove and Brickell. This fully self-supported event has no crews or traditional aid stations; teams finish together or not at all. There are three divisions: Male, Female, and Co-Ed.
Runners navigate the city with directional cards; a complete course map isn’t provided until checkpoints along the route. Drop bags are allowed at checkpoints, with support limited to these points. The course travels on pedestrian paths and sidewalks and requires following pedestrian laws amid traffic.
