The Midwest States 100 is an ultra running event held in Westboro, Wisconsin, within the scenic Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The race features three distances: 100 miles, 100 kilometers, and 50 kilometers, all primarily run on the iconic Ice Age Trail, a 1,000-mile National Scenic Trail known for its rugged terrain shaped by ancient glaciers. This small, grassroots race offers a wilderness adventure through lakes, dense forests, and prairies, emphasizing a close-knit community atmosphere.
