Event overview
The Midwest States 100 takes place August 29 - 30, 2026 in Westboro, Wisconsin. All races use the same start and finish location: W7969 Park Rd, Westboro, WI 54490. Distances offered include:

- 100K
- 50k
Registration opens November 30, 2025. Early bird pricing until January 15 is listed as: 100 mile $295, 100K $235, 50k $155. No refunds are offered.
Course, camping and policies
The majority of the course is on the Ice Age National Scenic Trail inside the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The trail includes rocky terrain, open prairies, lakes, and forested sections. The 100K course returns to the start/finish at the 100K point; runners may finish there as 100K finishers or continue outward for the 100 mile finish.
Camping add-on is available for $35 for a spot on a group campsite; the add-on allows one 2-man tent and one car or one small camper van. No camping is available at the start/finish line. The event fields are intentionally small and described as grassroots. Rollover and transfer rules: entries can be rolled over with notice 70 days before the event; 50% race credit is available if requested by 25 days before; a 100% rollover is available up to the day before if the entrant volunteers 8 hours and is assigned; pregnancy rollovers are allowed; bib transfers are possible through August 1.
