Midwood Mile : event overview
The Midwood Mile is presented by the Plaza Midwood Neighborhood Association and takes place on September 27, 2025, in Charlotte, NC. The course starts at Arts Plus (2304 The Plaza, Charlotte, NC 28205) and finishes near Hamorton Place before Landis Avenue. A post-race celebration will be held at Resident Culture (2101 Central Ave), near the finish line; race registrants receive a free drink at Resident Culture valid on the event day until 10 PM. The organizer reports 214 participants and $79.68 raised for the neighborhood association.

- Family Mile
- Men's Mile
- Women's Mile
Registration includes a shirt and entry for prize drawings. The top three finishers in both the Men's and Women's Mile receive gift cards: 1st $100, 2nd $50, 3rd $25. In the Family Mile, 1st place in each age from 5 to 12 wins a $25 gift card to Harper & Skyler's Toys & Sweets. All children must run to qualify; no stroller riders or bikers. All kids 12 and under receive finisher medals. The event policy states there are no refunds; race management may cancel or modify the event for unfavorable conditions and registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
