Miles for Mammograms

Miles for Mammograms is a 5K walk/run event held in Savannah, Georgia, at Lake Mayer (1850 E. Montgomery Crossroads). Established in October 2022, this race aims to raise funds to provide free breast cancer screening and diagnostic imaging for uninsured and underinsured individuals.

The event is a collaboration between M.A.R.T.H.A., Incorporated, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority's Gamma Sigma Omega Chapter, and Curtis V. Cooper Primary Healthcare, and has helped over 450 people in the previous year.
