Miles in the Maize : North Liberty, IA
Miles in the Maize is a fall running event at Colony Acres, 1150 South Front St., North Liberty, IA. The event on Saturday, November 8, 2025, includes an off-road 5K and a one-mile Maize Mile that run around a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, and other seasonal farm scenery. Costume awards are voted on and presented, and Maize Mile awards are given before the 5K. A brief post-race awards ceremony recognizes overall and age-group winners for the 5K.

Entry fees listed on the event page are $40 for the 5K, $20 for the Maize Mile, and $45 for entering both events. Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations made after October 25. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race at Fitness Sports in North Liberty (555 Hwy 965 Unit B). Race day packet pickup is available at Colony Acres. Race day registrations are permitted up to the stated race day cutoff. The event partners with Corridor/Eastern Iowa Let Me Run and Girls on the Run; proceeds will be donated to those programs and donors can designate which program receives their donation.
