Event overview
The Mill Towns Race Series takes place on October 12, 2025, in Memorial Park, Dundas, MN. The event offers three distances, all chip-timed:
- Marathon - four loops; Boston-qualifying, certified course.
- Half marathon - two loops.
- 10K - one loop; slightly shorter 10K course.
All races start and finish in Memorial Park. The 10K is one loop of the main route; the half and marathon run additional loops through the park.
Course, logistics and extras
The course is a flat, tree-lined loop that follows paved trails along both sides of the Cannon River between Dundas and Northfield. Elevation gain for the route is 107 ft. Aid stations and water stops are provided; runners must pass the last aid station by 1:30 PM, which is about 2 miles from the finish. All participants receive a race bib and a high-quality 3" finisher medal with the race distance on the lanyard. Packet pick-up is race-day only; there are no mailouts.
The event supports Project Purple, which funds pancreatic cancer research and patient aid. A fundraising option is available; raising $250 will waive the entry fee. The race is hosted by Your Pace or Mine Running Club, a Road Runners Club of America member club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
