Mogollon Monster

The Mogollon Monster is a challenging trail running event held near Pine, Arizona, about 90 minutes northeast of Phoenix. It features a rugged 100-mile ultramarathon and a 42K race, both traversing the scenic Mogollon Rim, which rises 2,000 feet and stretches 200 miles across Arizona. The 100-mile course includes six climbs of the Rim, with a total elevation gain of approximately 18,000 feet, ranging from 5,000 to 8,000 feet in elevation.

The terrain is technical and varied, passing through ecosystems from high Sonoran Desert to vast Ponderosa Pine forests. The 42K race shares part of the Rim and finishes in the town of Pine.
