Montgomery River Run

The Montgomery River Run is a family-friendly running event held in Montgomery, Illinois, featuring USATF-certified 5K and 10K courses along the scenic Fox River. The event also includes a Kids Dash of 200 meters. Both courses are flat and fast, welcoming runners, walkers, pets, strollers, and baby joggers on the 5K route.

The race starts and finishes at Montgomery Village Hall, with free street parking available nearby. Participants receive a long-sleeve dry-fit shirt and goodie bag, while kids in the dash earn finisher medals. Awards are given to top finishers by age group, and team registration offers discounts.
