The Monument Marathon is a road and trail running event held in Scottsbluff and Gering, Nebraska. Course and distances

The full marathon begins in Wildcat Hills State Recreation Area, descends into Gering Valley, and circles the Scotts Bluff National Monument on trails open to the public only on this day. The half marathon starts at Robidoux RV Park, joins the full route through Mitchell Pass, and continues the 360 degree circuit of the Monument past water, badlands, cornfields, and neighborhoods. The half marathon relay is a three-runner team with set leg distances on dirt, gravel, and neighborhood roads.
