Moonlight Bootlegger 5k : Greensboro
The Moonlight Bootlegger 5k is a nighttime trail event held on May 2, 2026, at Hagan Stone Park in Pleasant Garden, NC. The course uses rolling, lightly rooted trails and will be marked with music and over 300 tea light candles. Athletes are required to carry a headlamp or flashlight. The finish area will feature live bluegrass music and post-race refreshments, and registered participants receive event-specific items such as a commemorative mason jar and a custom race shirt when registered early enough.

The 5k open division lists ages 21 to 99; the under-21 division lists ages 5 to 20. Registration includes two tickets for post-race cocktails or mocktails, post-race food, and music before and after the event. Shirt availability is guaranteed for registrations made at least two weeks before race day. The event refund policy states no refunds within 30 days of the event; refunds requested earlier may be eligible for 50% of the entry fee.
