The Moorpark Groundhog Day event on Saturday, February 7, 2026 benefits Moorpark High School’s cross country and track programs. The event includes a chip-timed road race that starts at the high school and finishes inside the Moorpark High School stadium. Registration fees include a t-shirt for all runners; shirts are only guaranteed for registrations completed by Sunday, January 25, 2026.

All participants age 11 and under who complete the 5k will receive a finisher medal. The 1 mile fun run for kids age 11 and under is held on the track, and finisher medals are given to all fun-run participants.
