Morris Hot Cocoa 5K

The Morris Hot Cocoa 5K and 10K is a festive running event held in Morris Plains, New Jersey, typically in early December. Participants can choose between a 3.1-mile 5K or a 6.2-mile 10K course featuring mixed terrain such as dirt, grass, gravel, and hills, making trail shoes recommended. The multi-loop, all-grassy course has no road crossings and includes some hills, suitable for both beginners and trail enthusiasts.

Runners enjoy a warm, fun atmosphere with rewards including a medal, a long-sleeved shirt (for the first 200 registrants), and complimentary hot cocoa served in a mug at the finish line, along with bundt cakes.
