Mountain View Half Marathon
The Mountain View Trail Half Marathon is an annual fall trail race held on Antelope Island, Utah, offering runners stunning views of the Wasatch Mountains. The 13.1-mile out-and-back course starts at the Antelope Island Marina and follows the Mountain View Trail south, featuring two aid stations spaced every few miles. This cupless race encourages participants to carry their own hydration and gels.
The event boasts a relaxed atmosphere with no strict time limits and hand timing. Finishers receive a commemorative coffee mug, and top runners earn prize money. Post-race, participants enjoy hearty food including buffalo chili.
Wildlife such as bison may be encountered, adding to the unique trail experience. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
