About the race
Mt Hood Trail Runs are three ultratrail distances—50 miles, 50K, and 25K—set in the shadow of Oregon's highest peak. A Pacific Northwest classic since 1999, the 50M and much of the 50K course run along the heavily shaded Pacific Crest Trail with iconic Mt Hood views; the 25K circles Clackamas and Timothy Lakes on engaging single- and double-track trails. The event is known for outstanding volunteer support and a friendly, old-school vibe.
Start/finish is at the Clackamas Lake Historic Ranger Station near Timothy Lake. The race supports inclusivity via the Trail Mix Fund and emphasizes a community atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
