Mt. Taylor 50K

The Mt. Taylor 50K is a scenic and challenging mountain ultramarathon held near Grants, New Mexico, about 90 minutes west of Albuquerque. The course features rarely visited trails through the Cibola Forest, including volcanic plugs, high mountain meadows, and sections of the Continental Divide Trail.

Runners start before dawn to greet the sunrise from La Mosca Lookout and enjoy a 360-degree summit view of Mt. Taylor. This not-for-profit event offers well-marked trails, stocked aid stations, and a post-race cookout.
