Event overview
The Mueller Trail Half Marathon takes place on October 11, 2025 in Bountiful, UT (1800 Mueller Park Rd, 84010). The event is a Half Marathon and is open to ages 12 and up. Registration fees are listed between $90 and $95 depending on registration date. Discounts include 10% for multiple registrants, 20% for military with proof, and 15% for students with proof. Chip timing, participant medals, long-sleeve shirts, finish-line donuts, and sponsored shoe giveaways are provided. A $500 cash prize is offered on the spot for setting a new male or female course record.
Course and logistics
The race is a loop course that travels up North Canyon, past Rudy's Flat, and down the Mueller Park Trail. Around mile 3.5 the route becomes single-track through pine forest and along a ridge; course mileage is reported by organizers as about 13 to 13.1 miles despite some maps showing 12.7 miles. Runners must supply their own water; organizers provide two water stations (near mile 2.7 and mile 6.2). There is a five-hour time cap; the timing company departs after four hours and organizers may remain additional time to assist finishers. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Fleet Feet in Layton and at the race venue on race day. Shuttle service, a secure bag drop, free 12-week training plans, and free group trail meet-ups are offered. Volunteers can receive a 100%-off race code.
