Nancy M. Kapheim Memorial Classic

The Nancy M. Kapheim Memorial Classic is a running and walking event held in Rock Island, Illinois, hosted by the Cornbelt Running Club. It features a scenic, fast out-and-back course along a protected bike path on Sunset Lane, between 18th and 31st Avenues.

The event offers multiple distances including a 5K competitive walk, 5K run, and 10K run. Participants enjoy a post-race breakfast buffet included with entry, and awards are presented during breakfast for overall and age group winners. Proceeds support the Nancy Kapheim Scholarship Fund, and a special pre-race ceremony honors club members.
