The Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5K and Donut 1-Mile Run / Walk takes place on September 19, 2026, at Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 SR 19 North, Nappanee, IN 46550. The church is about 2 miles north of downtown Nappanee and south of Wakarusa. The event celebrates the Apple Festival 50th anniversary and includes multiple race options.

Logistics, awards and rules
Registration opens on specified dates for each event. Packet pickup is at Nappanee Missionary Church on Friday, September 18 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, September 19 from 6:30 AM to 8:15 AM. Shirts available after August 31 on a first-come, first-served basis; unclaimed shirts will not be mailed. All finishers receive apple, donut, and apple cider at the finish line.
Chip timing will be provided by Watt’s My Time. Awards: 1 Mile - top three boys and girls in listed age groups; 5K - overall top three men and women plus age-group custom apple awards for listed brackets. Awards will not be mailed and are presented after the 5K concludes. Parking and restrooms are available at the church. Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash and under control; aggressive dogs must be removed and dogs are not allowed inside the church. Race day registration is online only. No refunds.
