National Watermelon Day Run
The National Watermelon Day Run, held annually at Pike Lake State Park in Hartford, Wisconsin, is a family-friendly event celebrating summer with running and walking races. Participants can choose from distances including a half marathon, 10K, 5K run or walk, and a free 1K for kids. New in 2025, rucking events (walking with weighted backpacks) are also offered.
