The NCR Marathon and Half Marathon, hosted by the Baltimore Road Runners Club, is Baltimore’s oldest continuously running USATF-certified marathon, held annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The race takes place on the scenic Northern Central Railroad Trail (Torrey C. Brown Trail) in Maryland, featuring a mostly flat, out-and-back course along a crushed gravel and dirt path beside the Big Gunpowder Falls.

The marathon starts and finishes at Oldfields School in Sparks Glencoe, offering a net downhill course ideal for fast times and Boston Marathon qualification. Participants enjoy water and energy stops, chip timing, and unique finisher awards including a sweatshirt blanket and fleece hoodie. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
