NCR Marathon
The NCR Marathon & Half Marathon, hosted by the Baltimore Road Runners Club, is Baltimore’s oldest continuously running USATF certified marathon, held annually on the Saturday after Thanksgiving in Sparks Glencoe, Maryland. The race features a scenic out-and-back course along the Northern Central Railroad Trail (Torrey C. Brown Trail), a nearly 20-mile wooded rail trail beside Big Gunpowder Falls.
The marathon starts and finishes at the historic Oldfields School campus. Known for its fast, mostly flat, net downhill course, it is a popular Boston Marathon qualifier. Participants receive a unique finisher’s blanket and a NCR hoodie.
The event also includes a marathon relay and an 8K race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
