About the race
New Hope Wesleyan Ultra Trail Run, Harrison County's first ultra marathon, is held at O'Bannon Woods State Park in Corydon, Indiana. The event offers four trail distances: a 50K ultramarathon (two 13.5-mile loops plus a 4-mile loop, about 3,500 ft of elevation), a half marathon (13.1 miles, ~1,500 ft), a 6.6-mile loop (~800 ft), and a 5K (minimal elevation). Runners encounter rugged, technical single-track through scenic forest terrain with breathtaking views.
Aid stations are at the start/finish, an unmanned station at mile 5.5, and a full station at mile 10. Medals are awarded to the top finishers in each race, with prizes from local businesses. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
