Event overview
The NFA 5K, 1 Mile Fun Run, and 50 yard dash is scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Fort Washington, PA. The event is the 9th annual edition and benefits outdoor play and wellness programs at Norwood-Fontbonne Academy. The course runs through Fort Washington State Park, with the start and finish at the park Mill Road entrance (GPS address: 44 W Mill Road). Entry fees listed for each event are $35.

The 50 yard dash for the youngest participants takes place before the other runs. All 5K runners are timed. Overall male and female winners will be recognized in two age categories: under 18 and over 18. The 1 mile fun run and the 50 yard dash are untimed. Registered participants receive a tee shirt and an NFA bear finisher's medal, plus additional race items and refreshments including coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks.
