About the race
The Niantic Jingle 5K is an annual festive running and walking event held at McCooks Point Park in Niantic, Connecticut. Celebrating its 12th edition in December 2025, the race features a flat, easy course along the scenic Niantic shoreline, suitable for runners and walkers of all fitness levels. Participants can run, walk, or push strollers, either solo or as part of a team.
The event supports the Brian Dagle Foundation and Brian's Healing Hearts Center for Hope and Healing, focusing on grief support and suicide prevention. Known as one of Connecticut's top road races, it attracts over 1,400 participants, creating a lively holiday atmosphere. A virtual 5K option is also available.
