Night Howler 50

The Night Howler 50 is a unique overnight 50-mile ultramarathon held at Hoover Sports Park East in Hoover, Alabama. Starting at sunset, runners tackle a 2.5-mile loop course that includes flat terrain with minor inclines, a bridge crossing over the Cahaba River, and wooded trails accessed via stairs. Participants complete 20 laps within a 16-hour cutoff to earn a custom belt buckle.

The event features a full-service aid station at the start/finish area, where runners can also set up personal aid stations and receive pacing support.
