About the race
Nightmare in Artesia 5k is a community running event held in Artesia, New Mexico, at Jaycee Park (1710 S 26th St). The lineup includes a 5k in-person race, a 5k Virtual option, and several kid-friendly routes: a 1-Mile Kids Fun Run for ages 6–12, a 1-Mile Kid Fun Run for ages 5 & under, and a 5k for ages 17 and under. It serves as a fundraiser for the Artesia High School Cross Country Team.
