Nitro Turkey
Nitro Turkey is a family-friendly Thanksgiving Day running event held at Point Pinole Regional Shoreline Park in San Pablo, California. The event features 5K and 10K races along scenic trails, as well as the Little Turkeys Race, a short sprint for children aged 10 and under. Participants are encouraged to wear Thanksgiving-themed costumes, and walkers and families are welcome.
The event supports the Food Bank of Contra Costa & Solano through a food drive, inviting attendees to bring canned goods. Nitro Turkey also offers a Double Turkey Challenge, combining this race with another Thanksgiving event for a special medal. The atmosphere is festive and community-oriented, perfect for all ages.
