Norma E Boyd Race for Education

The 12th Annual Norma E Boyd 5K Race for Education takes place at East Potomac Park (Hains Point) in Washington, DC. The event offers a 5K race, a Virtual 5K option, and a Heath and Wellness Expo, reflecting a community-focused atmosphere. It is organized by the Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

in partnership with the Pearl and Ivy Educational Foundation (PIEF) to support DC high school scholarships. Since 2013, the race has raised over $118,000 for PIEF’s scholarship program.
