About the race
The North Texas Ultra is a multi-distance trail running event held at Fort Richardson State Park's North Park Unit in Jacksboro, Texas. It offers races ranging from 5K and 10K to ultramarathon distances including 25K, 50K, 52 Miler, and 100K, as well as a 25K RUCK event. The course features a scenic, open trailway with soft fine gravel surface, relatively flat terrain with about 550 feet elevation change per 15.5-mile loop, making it one of the fastest ultra marathon courses in Texas.
