The event is held at Fort Richardson State Park, North Park Unit, in Jacksboro, TX (134 Trailway Drive). Distances offered include:

Registration closes on Fri, Feb 6. Shuttle service is provided for some distances. Packet pickup and drop-bag services are available at the start/finish area. The race is part of the Texas Ultra Series.

Course, rules, and services

The course uses the Lost Creek Reservoir State Trailway and follows a 15.5-mile out-and-back loop beginning and ending at the North Park Unit. Surface is soft fine gravel on an open, wide trail. Elevation changes total about 550 ft per 15.5-mile loop. Historic average temperatures in mid-February are 35 to 60 degrees. Pacers are allowed on the last two loops of the 100K, the last two loops of the 52 Miler, and the last loop of the 50K. The event has a 20-hour overall cutoff.

Ruck requirements: runners over 150 lb must carry a 30 lb ruck; runners under 150 lb must carry a 20 lb ruck; ruck sack or vest is allowed. Race services include marked and supported course, aid stations with food and hydration, photography, and course staff/volunteers. Finishers receive a race shirt and finisher medals; 50K and 52M medals include distance inscription, 100K finishers receive a buckle, and 1st place awards are given by gender for each distance. 100K has a "Dead Freakin' Last" award.
