About the race
Northern Trails Trail Race is a spring trail event in Greensboro, NC, at Northern Guilford High School (7101 Spencer Dixon Rd). Runners can choose 5-, 10-, or 17-mile trails (with 5- and 10-mile Ruck options). The route traverses trails near Lake Brandt and Lake Townsend and is described as among the Piedmont’s most beautiful, ideal for beginners, ultra-prep, or a fast time.
It’s part of the NC Trail Mega Medal Series, with medals that connect to form a Mega Medal. Registration includes chip timing, RaceJoy live tracking, photos, aid stations, post-race food and beer, plus Economy or Virtual options. It’s a North Carolina tradition.
