NSB Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble 5k
The NSB Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble 5k is scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. The event is presented by the Flagler Avenue Business Association and takes place on the beach at the Flagler Ave Boardwalk, 101 Buenos Aires St. The course starts and finishes on the sand in front of the boardwalk.
Race format and logistics
- Distance: 5K run/walk on the beach in sand.
The event is chip-timed using disposable electronic chips attached to the bib; bibs should be worn on the front of the shirt and pinned at all four corners. Packet pickup is available the day before the race and on race morning. Online registration fee is $30; race-day registration is $35. Registration is non-refundable and transfers are not allowed.
Amenities and services include a race-specific shirt (sizes not guaranteed after 11/11), a finisher medal, a water stop on the route that is passed twice, a water refill station at the start/finish, and free professional race photos available for download after the event. There is an after-race celebration at Flagler Tavern where participants receive "Flagler Tavern Bucks." Awards will recognize top overall and masters finishers plus the top three male and female in multiple age groups. Pets are not allowed. The event is rain or shine.
