About the race
The NYC Ugly Sweater 5K & Half Marathon, organized by the Never Stop Running Foundation (NSRF), takes place in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Runners choose between a 5K (one loop) or a half marathon (four loops) on a USATF-certified circuit starting near Duck Island and finishing at the Peristyle. The festive event encourages ugly sweaters and includes a commemorative medal and tee, plus on-site amenities like bag drop, restrooms, hydration, and snacks from All Round Foods and Waterloo Sparkling Water.
