Event
The NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience is a Half Marathon held in Brooklyn, NY on April 26, 2026. The event expects over 25,000 runners and was named by USA Today as one of the Best Half Marathons of 2025. The route starts in North Brooklyn, runs along the East River waterfront under the Williamsburg, Manhattan, and Brooklyn Bridges, continues up Fulton Street and Flatbush Avenue, passes through Grand Army Plaza and brownstone Brooklyn, and finishes in Prospect Park.
Course and logistics
The course is USATF-certified and electronically timed using the MYLAPS Bibtag system, with split points and clocks on course. Hydration stations and restrooms are provided every 1-2 miles and medical support will be available. Pace teams from the Prospect Park Track Club will cover paces from 1:30 to 3:00. Start waves and corrals are assigned based on the pace listed in the runner profile. Bag check is available at the pre-race Expo only; no race-day bag check.
Amenities, pricing and policies
Every runner receives an official race shirt (picked up at the Expo or mailed for a fee) and a collector’s finishers medal. Post-race refueling includes water, electrolyte fluids, a bagel with shmear, fresh fruit, and additional items. One complimentary race photo is provided; additional photos are available for purchase. Pricing tiers listed include member and non-member rates (examples: through 6/30 Members $99, Non-Members $110). NYCRUNS members have specific deferral benefits and withdrawal options.
