Course, logistics and services
The USATF-certified course starts in North Brooklyn, follows the East River waterfront under the Williamsburg, Manhattan, and Brooklyn Bridges, then proceeds along Fulton Street and Flatbush Avenue, passes Grand Army Plaza and finishes in Prospect Park. Electronic timing uses the MYLAPS Bibtag system with split points and course clocks. Hydration stations and restrooms are available every 1-2 miles, medical support is on course, and pace teams from the Prospect Park Track Club will cover paces from 1:30 to 3:00.
Race week Expo handles bib and shirt pickup and pre-race bag check (no race-day bag check). Amenities include an official race shirt, a finisher medal, post-race refreshments (water, electrolyte fluids, bagels, fruit), one complimentary race photo, and optional bib & shirt mailing for $35.
