The event takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY. Distance: Half Marathon. The course is USATF certified and consists of just under four full loops of Prospect Park with runners passing Center Drive three times before a final left turn to the finish on Center Drive. Course, logistics and policies
The Festival Area is located near Center Drive in Prospect Park and is the site for bib pickup, shirt distribution, bag check, and post-race services. Bibs are available for pick up on race day at the Festival Area; NYCRUNS members may have bibs mailed if they register 20 days or more before the event and supply a U.S. mailing address. Race-day amenities include bag check with a single clear-bag rule, portable bathrooms, water and electrolyte fluids on course, cans of Smartwater at the finish, post-race bagels and fresh fruit, a tech shirt (race-day pick up only, sizes not guaranteed), one complimentary race photo with options to purchase more, and a finisher medal at the finish.
Results will be emailed and posted online after the race. Awards are given to the top three overall male, female, and non-binary finishers (gun time) and to the top three in each listed age group (net/chip time). Handcycle and wheelchair athletes are advised not to register due to the number of turns. Strollers and dogs are not allowed; earbuds that hinder awareness may lead to disqualification.
