Oakwood24 is an annual 24-hour ultra run/walk event held at Lakeside Retreats in Raleigh, North Carolina, benefiting Healing Transitions. Now in its 8th year, the event has raised over $1 million to support recovery services for the homeless, uninsured, and underserved individuals struggling with addiction in Wake County. Participants can choose from distance, time, and relay options on a timed course, with a running trail map available.

A special Remembrance Hour honors those lost to addiction. Founded by Jon Frey, a person in recovery and ultra-runner, Oakwood24 combines endurance running with a mission to raise awareness and funds for addiction recovery. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
