Oasis 5K

The Oasis 5K & Fun Run is a community-focused running event held at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, located within Druid Hill Park. The race features multiple distances including a 5K Run/Walk, a 1-mile Fun Run/Walk, and kids' races for ages 6-13, as well as a virtual 5K option. The 5K course consists of two laps through the zoo exhibits, professionally timed with RFID chip technology.

Participants aged 14 and over receive a race t-shirt, and children’s t-shirts are available for purchase. The event fosters a vibrant atmosphere celebrating creativity and community in West Baltimore, with complimentary zoo admission for the first 250 participants.
