The Ocho Loco 5K Race/Walk & Fun Run takes place on Sunday, March 8, 2026, in Burleson, TX. The event is held at Chisenhall Fields Sports Complex, 500 W Hidden Creek Parkway, Burleson, TX 76028. The program includes these events:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 1K Fun Run (open to ages 12 and under)
- Sleep-In Supporter
Awards are given for top overall male and female, masters male and female, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group. A Largest Team Award is also offered. Registrants who register by February 9 are guaranteed a t-shirt and participant bag. Sleep-In Supporter registrants receive a t-shirt and runner packet but are not assigned a bib and are not eligible for awards.
Registration and logistics
Standard 5K registration is listed at $30, with race day registration listed at $35. The 1K Fun Run is free. Sleep-In Supporter registration is listed at $30. The 5K price increases after March 7, 2026. Early packet pick-up is available at Crazy8 Ministries (1100 W. FM 917, Joshua, TX) on the day before the race; packets are also available for pick-up on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
