Ode to Laz Michigan Backyard Ultra : July 18, 2026, Holly, MI
The Ode to Laz is a Last Person Standing backyard ultra held at Holly State Recreation Area. Competitors run a 4.167 mile loop repeatedly; runners must be at the start line each hour to begin the next lap. The event follows the traditional Big Dog's Backyard Ultra format: repeat the loop as long as desired, and the last runner who completes one more lap than all others wins. Packet pickup is on race morning at assigned starting areas.
