Event overview
The Oglebay Twinkle Trot is a 5K run held on November 23, 2025 in Wheeling, WV (26003). The start and finish are on Camp Russell Ln. near the zoo at Oglebay. The course runs through an area decorated with many lights and seasonal displays and includes holiday music. The event is chip timed by Wolf Creek Race Management. All participants are required to carry a personal light during the race.
Logistics and services
On-site registration is available on race day, and the event program includes registration and activities, a DJ, kids activities, a kids start with special guests, and the general 5K start. Parking at Oglebay is free and plentiful. Restrooms are available by the start/finish area. Early packet pickup is offered at the zoo on the Friday and Saturday before the race; hours are to be determined. Participants who register by November 10 are guaranteed a shirt in their size.
