Event overview
The Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is a multi-day running event held in downtown Oklahoma City over a three-day weekend, scheduled for April 24–26, 2026. The event supports the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum; proceeds benefit the museum. The race weekend includes an expo at the Oklahoma City Convention Center and access to the Memorial Museum with free admission for participants who show a race bib or registration confirmation. An official event app provides an interactive course map with hydration stations and mile markers, personalized schedules, real-time runner tracking, and push notifications.
Race options and logistics
The event offers multiple races and divisions, including Marathon, Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, 5K, Kids Marathon, Senior Marathon, and wheelchair divisions. The Quarter Marathon distance is 6.55 miles (10.55 km) and may be run individually or as a four-member team where team members start, run, and finish together. The Start Line is located on Harvey Avenue near the Memorial Museum, with start-line corrals in front of the museum between 6th and 10th Streets; a bib is required to enter a corral. Gear check requires the clear bag provided at registration; only that bag is accepted. Only pre-approved service dogs are allowed on race day; bringing a pet will result in disqualification.
