Old Highway 5k Run/Walk : event overview
The Old Highway 5k Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Islamorada. The event is a timed 5K that starts and finishes at Coral Shores High School. The course is described as flat and shaded. Coral Shores High School is the benefiting partner, with 50% of the event proceeds going to the school. Race shirts and participant medals are available to the first 200 registrants. After the race there will be snacks, refreshments, and music.
Awards, entry and rules
Awards will be given to the overall top three finishers male and female, overall masters male and female, and the top three male and female in each age group listed by the organizer, including age categories from under 9 through 80+. Entry is non-refundable, non-deferable, and non-transferable. Race management may postpone or cancel the event for emergencies or natural disasters and may alter the course or distances for athlete safety; no refunds will be issued in those circumstances.
